Edward Knapp is a Firmware Engineer for Spirent in Paignton, UK, with a mindset for problem-solving and developing creative solutions. He joined Spirent as a hardware placement student whilst undertaking his robotics degree, and has now worked at Spirent for three years. His expertise in robotics has allowed him to understand the diverse field of Connected and Autonomous Vehicles (CAV) from the sensors, AI, image processing, sensor fusion, and control systems. Recently, he has worked on several CAV projects by supporting automotive customers and managing projects for the integration of Spirent’s products with third-party tools.
