IP Network Digital Twin Platform for China Mobile

China Mobile was developing and deploying SRv6 protocol in their backbone network, metropolitan network, cloud network and SD-WAN solution to empower the evolution of their IPv6, cloud, 5G, and intelligent network capabilities.

SRv6 technology is a key component for upgrading China Mobile’s core network. The initiative involved their research and development (R&D) and verification groups, and operation and maintenance teams (O&M), as well as impacting China Mobile’s entire carrier ecosystem, including network equipment manufacturers (NEMs). With the rapid transition to IPv6, 5G, and cloud-native, China Mobile needed to ensure the service quality, reliability, and stability of their network.
