Response to the Latest Vehicle-Mounted Positioning Standard GB/T 45086.1-2024

On November 28th, a new national standard (GB/T 45086.1-2024 Technical Requirements and Test Methods for Vehicle-Mounted Positioning Systems - Part 1: Satellite Positioning) was released. For the automotive industry, the introduction of this national standard is of great significance, particularly in issues related to vehicle safety and positioning accuracy, as it will serve as the foundation for the vehicle-mounted Automatic Emergency Call System (AECS). Spirent, leveraging its expertise and PNT simulation systems, contributed to the formulation and publication of this standard.
